Wrong Negro To Beatdown; Justice Clarence Thomas On The Warpath Over Nephew’s Hospital Security Assault
Word is Justice Thomas is mad as hell.
Chicago Tribune reports security guards at a New Orleans-area hospital were accused of punching and tasing Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’s epileptic nephew. After a suicide attempt which happened last Thursday, security guards at West Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, attacked 24-year old Derek Thomas when he refused to put on a hospital gown and asked to be released. A doctor had ordered young Thomas restrained and the security guards went to work.
Security guards “punched him in his lip, pulled out more than a fistful of his dreadlocks and tasered him to restrain him,” a statement from Thomas’ family said.
Shortly afterwards, family members say, Thomas suffered a “massive epileptic seizure.”
Clarence Thomas is reportedly so infuriated by the incident that he’s headed to Louisiana to take on matters himself. We think there’s a doctor and some security who’ll be out of a job by Monday.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Derek Thomas meanwhile, says he will take legal action. “I would like to sue the hospital because it was uncalled for. Where in America can you go and, from you not putting on a robe, should the consequence be tased, punched in the face?”
