Obama’s Organizing For America To Offer Leadership Training In LA On Dec. 5
Interested in helping to bring to life healthcare reform, higher quality education for all and reusable and clean energies? How about leading a group of your neighbors in committed united action for any and all of the above goals? Join and get trained by the organization that picked up where the Obama campaign left off. On Saturday, December 5th, Organizing For America (OFA) is offering an all-day Neighborhood Team Leadership training for members of South Los Angeles and other surrounding communities.
UNFORTUNATELY (and we sure hope somebody from OFA gets a hold of this post) to sign up you have to first create an account on OFA’s Web site. We don’t particularly respect that. An individual should just be able to go to the darn site—sign up for the event and that be that, right? We would’ve posted our e-invitation here to the training to make it easy on you but it shows up with our email address and info already pre-filled ( no matter how many times we deleted it our personal info pops back up again) so therefore—we ain’t posting it here.
Oh well, we’re sure they mean well…kinda. At any rate here’s the Web site (http://www.barackobama.com). Once you create your account just do a search under your zip code for “events.” If you’re gonna do it sign up as soon as possible. These OFA trainings are very popular and do fill up fast!
