New Facebook Group: Black Voices For Obama

Well it’s about time.   With some like-minded friends we’ve formed a group on Facebook called Black Voices For Obama.

We’re very excited and that’s cause so far we haven’t seen any groups like it—-post election. And don’t exactly know what Black Voices For Obama is going to look like. We’re small and brand spanking new—just started putting up the curtains and unpacking the boxes.

We feel that under immense pressure over the past year the president has demonstrated himself an exceptional leader; particularly in the areas of human rights and economic recovery. The Obama administration is one with many firsts. While we’re not fortunetellers, it looks very much like Don’t Ask Don’t Tell will be repealed by the end of this year. The President is changing the hearts and minds of America.

The way we look at it Obama is not just a black president, he’s an exceptional leader overall. And even in that we’ve endured countless and countless unsavory attacks on this man’s character and his intention to make America a better place. Not just for some——but for all.

There are plenty of black politicians out there who we reserve the right to offer neither opinion or visible support. So this is not blind loyalty on our behalf by any stretch. We proudly stand as advocates for President Obama and invite others of African American heritage from all walks of life to stand with us. You can access our group page at the link below.
