Memba Dis? Arsenio Hall Goes Off On Queer Nation Activists

We have to give it up to the TransGriot blog for rolling out this one . In 1991, apparently some activists from Queer Nation were quite miffed that talk show host Arsenio Hall didn’t book Gus Van Sant on his show to promote his recently released film My Private Idaho. So the Queer Nation folks called Hall out on it right there from the studio audience. Yeah, they showed up and planted themselves in the back row until audience participation time when they started to plow him with questions about why he didn’t have gay guests on his show.

And Hall went off—like over the top cringe in your seat ugly OFF.
