Listen To Us On KJLH Radio Talk About Obama, Gays And Get Equal Protest In LA
YAY! WE WERE ON FRONT PAGE THIS MORNING. WHOOPEE! This morning we had the great pleasure of being able to voice our opinion on live radio about the protests by the Get Equal folks during president Obama’s speech at the Barbara Boxer fundraiser held yesterday in South Los Angeles. We’re sure most of you already know about it and have seen the Youtube video of the President’s obvious frustration as he tries to give a pitch for Boxer while being interrupted by DADT protesters.
We want to give a big shout to out to community activist and political consultant Jasmyne Cannick for creating the opportunity for us to voice our thoughts. We’d also like to thank Stevie Wonder’s KJLH radio station, Hot Topic Tuesday host Dominique Diprima and the Hot Topics Tuesday morning show.
Here’s Jasmyne Cannick’s post from her blog Jasmynecannick.com which includes the audio of this morning’s show. It’s a short audio and if we do say so ourselves, we kinda thought we sounded pretty damn good—tee hee. The discussion about Obama’s speech and those who disrupted it starts on 6:55 on the audio.
