Clive Jones Comes Out Of Hiding For Manchester Hyatt Demonstration
We tell you it does our heart good to see that Clive Jones was one of the participants Saturday afternoon in San Diego at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Boycott Demonstration. Not to bring up a sore subject but the man had practically dropped off the face of the earth early last November after all that drama took place with Robin McGehee and Kip Williams when they both abruptly quit as co-directors of the National Equality March—and held press conferences to let the world know they’d quit.
Poor Clive. That must’ve been a very difficult and embarrassing time. But from what we understand he was quite a challenge to put it politely to work with during the planning stages of NEM. Well hey, anyone can get a little testy under stressful circumstances.
We have to say Courage Campaign is on a roll these days. Yesterday’s big demonstration at the Manchester Hyatt was due to the owner of the hotel (not all Hilton hotels) and his big donation supporting Prop 8. Fags and elephants don’t forget shit. Good job guys. Keep the pressure on.
