Black Political Thought Slams NAACP Over Marijuana Civil Rights Support

Marijuana vending machine if all goes well with Prop 19

No this is not a gay thing. This is a black thing. A very black thing we might add. Okay. It could be black and gay, too.

Let us start off by saying Janet Shan over at the Black Political Thought blog is a first rate idiot. We’ve always thought that. We just had no reason to make our thoughts about Shan public til now.

Last week the California chapter of the NAACP announced its endorsement for a marijuana legalization ballot measure, saying current laws are unfairly used to target minorities. The NAACP highlighted findings it says show the arrest rate among blacks for low-level marijuana crimes far exceed those of whites in the state’s largest counties.

“Justice is the quality of being just and fair and these laws have been neither just nor fair,” said Alice Huffman, president of the California State Conference of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, in an interview with Huff Post.

The November ballot measure would let adults possess up to an ounce of marijuana for personal use. Residents could legally grow small marijuana gardens, and individual cities and counties would decide whether to allow marijuana sales.

The NAACP’s announcement of course drew the fools out of the woodwork including a couple of nameless black clergy folk who where quickly dismissed and ignored. But today we read that Janet Shan over at Black Political Thought is up to her closed minded ignunt ravings again. Read the following dreck:

Wow. I could think of several other key issues that the NAACP could focus on to help the black community — reducing the high unemployment and foreclosure rates in the black community. Sorry, but Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Johnnie Carr, Rosa Parks and all the people who fought tirelessly for civil rights for blacks would be embarrassed at the position of Alice Huffman and the California NAACP. There is no way that the legalization of marijuana is a civil rights issues. It is a sad commentary that people throw around the words civil rights in such a cavalier manner, considering people lost their lives and were discriminated against because of the color of their skin.

She’s so pathetic we can’t even begin to address her complete bogusness and surreal POV. Shan is one of those people Sherri Shepherd hangs out with. There’s this sector of black culture that makes up their own version of reality. This of course has nothing to do with reality. But it never stops them.

While the California NAACP chapter is staunchly supporting legalization of marijuana in Cali for racial reasons (and they’re right to do it) there are still other very valid reasons for making pot legal and we’re talking about the medicinal benefits. Pot smoking helps cancer patients tremendously we’re told in terms of relieving some of their pain and even helping them with their appetites to eat. This goes for AIDS patients as well. For those of you who do not understand the medical benefits of marijuana please read the following informative article. It’s very important that people, particularly the bible thumpers in the black community, do understand how marijuana is in fact used for wholly medicinal purposes—-before some maniac like Janet Shan gets a hold of them.  So please feel free to pass along the following info to friends or fam you suspect may not be in the know.
